I've read other reviews but did not have the issues others did. I assembled the entire unit w/o the instructions. Assembly was very straight forward. Parts are strong and sturdy, tables made from very good wood. Tilt function and locking works fine, no problems. Only thing is I have a very high bed and it just clears when tilted.
