The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Very solid piece of furniture. Assembly directions were easy to follow. Took approximately two hours to assemble with two people. It looks okay, but I would not buy this again if they paid me! It is not a solid piece, it is very complicated to put together, and the instructions are not accurate nor are they easy to read. We finally got it put together after SEVERAL hours. I don’t like that there is wasted space above the headboard…it feels like there should be a shelf there but it is just open to the back of the bed. Also, if you buy the recommended mattress size, it leaves a gap at the head of the bed. It will work for now because it is for our child, but it will definitely be going in the burn pile when it’s time for a new bed. Save yourself the trouble and find something else.. Natalie.
