Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. We used these stairs to access a 5th-wheel RV, and they are exactly the right size for what we needed. They came well packaged and were easy to assemble; however, I definitely think it was a two-person job. One issue (not the fault of the product) is that the handrail interfered with where our mounted RV hand rail opened, so we had to create a work around, so you might consider that if using these for an RV. Also, although the steps have a raised texture, I wouldn't exactly call them nonslip. Our dog had a very hard time with them until we added outdoor carpet (carpet squares that we cut and mounted with adhesive tape). Overall, they are study and seem to be built to last a long time.. The underside of the Handi-Spa Pad is formed with built-in “strength” pockets. It has been tested to withstand 300 pounds of pressure per square foot. This was accomplished by applying a total weight of 7000 pounds over a 21-foot square area.

Very sturdy but the directions were not very clear. Just so you know you will have to have a drill to put in some screws.
