The rectangular shape of this pan was inspired by the Japanese makiyakinabe pans that are used for rolled omelets called tamagoyaki. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter. I purchased the Mepra Non-Stick Frying Pan (MEP1300) from Wayfair a few months ago and Love it. The only problem was it did NOT come with a lid. THIS is the matching lid for that pan.
