We been using this bunk bed for some weeks now in my kids room and overall i feel good about it. The wood feel strong and not cheap, which i worry before honestly. It come with slats so no box spring needed, that was nice and save extra hassle. Assembly take time, not hard but many parts so patience needed, my husband help me and still took afternoon. The drawers under bed are very useful, we put toys and some clothes there, room look more clean now. Ladder feel secure and guardrails are high enough, my son move a lot when sleep so this make me calm. There is slide too, kids love it a lot, they play every morning like small park. This is a strong well made bunk bed. I wish they put extra screws though becase a few broke and I had to improvise. My boys love it and that was the dream. I mainly bought this because I like how you can transition it into two separate full sized beds and they look great. Only need one bed right now so the other is stored under with the trundle. My only wish was that this version had storage drawers instead of a trundle, but I’ve made it work. Delivery was fast and online time. No damage to the boxes or bed! I absolutely love the quality. Looks great, feels great, and it was fairly easy to put together. The instructions may not be the best for someone that’s not really handy. It took me about 6 hours to include bringing in the boxes, opening them all and tearing them all down, tying up the boxes. and then assembling the bed. We recently updated my mother's bedroom, and one of the biggest changes was purchasing this Twin over Full bunk bed that she had been wanting. Overall, we are very pleased with it. The bed is solid and sturdy for the price, and the color looks great in the room. Assembly wasn't particularly difficult, but there are a lot of pieces, so I recommend giving yourself plenty of space to organize everything before you start. We also added a few extra slats for additional mattress support, which worked out well. For the lower full-size bunk, we purchased the 9" Plush Cooling Gel Hybrid Mattress by Zinus, and it's been comfortable for her to sleep on. However, some flaws - The product is advertised as real wood, but the only real wood is the 4-post frame and bed slats. The sides and shelving are particleboard and thus are cheaper material. - Because it’s not 100 real wood I think it’s overpriced, but in the end would probably buy it again because of the shelving feature and the size fit our space perfectly. - LED strips only extend two sides of the frame and you can only control them with an app on your phone! (No remote!!) - The bottom drawer is very shallow and barely holds anything, maybe a couple of books. It also isn’t on a track so it slides all over the place. We ended up not using it. - The shelves are shallow and hold small fidget toys and water bottles. We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. The built-in drawers hold way more than I expected — clothes, pajamas, extra sheets, and even some toys — which helped keep everything organized without needing another dresser. The bed feels sturdy and safe. The guardrails on the top bunk are solid, and the ladderstairs are stable enough that I don’t worry about them climbing up and down. Well... Good thing Im handy! Ive assembled my fair share of boxed furniture throughout the years. I knew I was going to be in trouble when I opened up the box of hardware, and it was not all in their own bags or separated. There was three or four different sets of screws or hardware per bag that you had to sort or find tiny little paper tags that identified each one. Yee-haw! This bed took a lot of my patience, experience, and several hours. The instructions were very confusing at times, theres no detailed description, just pictures. My bed frame had mislabeled pieces that created a lot of confusion. I also had a shortage of no less than 12 different pieces of hardware. Again, thankfully Im handy and had stuff laying around. Like a previous review said, the instructions for the steps and doors are wrong and need to be switched. You either have to do some good math or guess how wide apart to attach all the slats and drawer stops. All the exposed hardware is kind of a bummer as well. This wasnt a hard assembly, just tedious and frustrating due to the instructions and hardware. Even though it seems like Im complaining, I am very happy with the bed. We have very little storage sleeping options in our house and this bed solves several of those issues.
