Although the box looked a bit damaged, I was pleasantly surprised to find minimal damage to the 2 nightstands. Out of all the parts for both nightstands, only one of the legs had a cosmetic defect. Assembly was super simple— all I had to do was attach the legs and put on the handles. It honestly took longer to unpack all of the components and set aside the package. I absolutely love this bedroom set. It is solid real wood and very striking. It was easy to put together with 2 people, and the bedside tables came assembled. My only complaint was that packing on one of the side tables allowed the peg of the legs to punch through the bottom of the drawer, but the company offered to reship (and we had to ship other one back at their cost), or refund. We chose the refund as the holes were coverable and minimal. We were afraid if we chose exchange, it come even more damaged, as others’s reviews had mentioned. If I could leave 4.5 stars I would, just for the damage. Otherwise I absolutely love the set! High quality overall for a great price.. Michelle. Las Cruces, NM. Sun Aug 16 2026
