This review is for the mahogany 19.7" x 28" x 16.3" version of the product. The size of the platform is perfect for my 1 extra wide monitor. The standing height is sufficient for me (I am 5' 7" tall). The height is also just barely sufficient for my husband (who is 6' 3" tall), it would probably be a bit short for anyone who is taller than that (depending on the height of their desk off the ground to begin with). I Highly recommend this desk. This is exactly what I expected. It was easy to put together. Total build time was about 20 - 30 minutes for 1 person. High quality materials. all hardware was provided. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the edge of the desk is a hard 90 degrees rather than a beveled edge. Even the thinner pieces dont bend under pressure and feel very durable. As for the wood, its natural so you can expect some variation in the pieces you receive. I felt what I got was accurate to the product photos. My disappointments with this product are minor, but for the price I wouldve appreciated more attention to detail. Where the metal cup connects to the base, theres a small gap on one side where the glue is visible. Its almost a non-issue, but not something Id expect from a product with a near 100 price tag. Ultimately I would recommend considering more affordable alternatives before purchasing this product. Its a lovely piece, but functionally serves the same purpose as something you could buy at staples. if you need a sit-stand desk for your home office that won't break the bank, this is the option for you. My company offers ergonomic online consults and noticed my old-fashioned leather top wood desk was too high for my height. Therefore, she recommended I get a sit/stand desk as it will be lower and will give me the option to stand during the day esp. meetings. The company does pay for them, so it was an added bonus. This one was a good option. Pretty easy to put together, just have to be organized from the start...put all the right parts together, etc. Took about 45 minutes to put together as I did go slow and do it on my own.
