This flatware set is just what I wanted thank you. It has a beautiful design and a nice weight. The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Serve your guests in impeccable style with this flatware set. Ribbed handles make a rustic serving statement for any casual or formal gathering.

Think shape/design is beautiful. Takes a little getting used to "size" and weight of this flatware. I was surprised that the knife cutting edge is placed on the tip and not all the way down the blade...that actually gets a bit thick. Cutting banana was when I realized this. Tip of knife is fine. Overall...really like this flatware.. Wells. NM. Tue May 12 2020
