I really do love this desk for the most part, but there are a few things that lost it a star. First, the storage is pretty low quality for the price. The drawers are just cardboard on the bottom and they don’t soft close or anything. The shelving on the other side is kind of dumb also - they’re not big enough to fit anything but small planners or something like that. Partly my fault for not looking at those dimensions, but I just assumed I could keep books there. And finally, putting this desk together is pretty difficult alone. I’ve put together a lot of furniture on my own, and I know what I’m doing, but this took like 6 hours. And I think one of those hours was just lining up the desk too with all the tiny holes to screw it on lol would be much easier with help. Now for positives - the desk looks really good and works really well! The desktop is sturdy and high quality, and the presets are very easy to set and use. There’s plenty of room underneath for your chair or a walking pad. The desk arrived late and the electric parts didn’t work. The customer service agent talked in circles trying to insist on my accepting replacement parts with no partial refund. Kept talking around it when I asked about returning and refund. Then said I’d have to disassemble the desk to return it. Ummm no. I’m not giving giving my free labor for something that arrived late and dysfunctional. After about an hour of the run around they finally agreed to send the parts and give a partial refund for all the trouble. They could’ve just offered that to begin with. Nice desk, my only complaint is the cords. youll have 2 cords they run from the top of the desk. So they are very noticeable. if you plan on having this desk pushed up against the wall, that would look better. The drawer could have been made deep enough for this feature but for some reason it was not included in the design. Came well packaged. A few pieces chipped (small) and some dirty (cleaned up well). I think I’m going to really like this desk as it is aesthetically pleasing, but also functional as a standing desk. It did take me about five hours to put together by myself. Very nice desk for what I needed. Looks very nice and fits my printer, desktop computer, and two 24" monitors. Plus lots of extra room for odds and ends. The small shelf on the side comes in handy for my desktop items, such as a notepad, tape dispenser, stapler, and scissors.
