I love my mixer.... I wish that the head would lift just a little farther up. Very strong and the dials give me absolute control of the speed. I can't put anything into the bowl without first lifting the head. That is problematical when I want to add dry goods while mixing. What do you think you can do to improve this?. Eloise. After reading the reviews and doing research I went with the professional because I do make a lot of bread and the larger motor handles thicker mixes better. My daughter made bread with dough on the dry side. I'm positive we would have probably burnt the motor of an artisan mixer. This beast powered through like a champ. This was a gift and upon the first use the stir speed was not working and the mixer got extremally hot. I called customer service and as I expected, Wayfair's wonderful customer service department was ready to fix the situation quickly. Within 2 days my son had a brand new Kitchen Aid at no extra cost to me and he is pleased with it.
