I'm really happy with these stair carpets- it was hard to find ones with the correct dimensions for my staircase which has pretty thick edging, and in the color that matches my painted stairs and is textured. I was worried they weren't going to be soft/cushioned enough, but the cross texture feels comfortable on my feet and adds that extra traction I was looking for. All around a great purchase! *Some things to note- it was hard to peel the thin plastic off the back, so just take your time with it, and make sure the Velcro truly lines up with the carpet edge or it will look crooked and not stick right. The design is brilliant, but the execution of some key aspects is horrid. There is a piece of metal cut and shaped to cover the lip of the stair. The glue that is meant to adhere the fabric to the metal has already failed on most of the stairs, just sitting in the box. If these were installed as-is, they would create a dangerous trip hazard going up the stairs, as every step would be an opportunity to catch your foot. Stair treads are amazing! I have them outside in our Catio I put them on top of some sandpaper stair steps with yellow trim. I left the yellow trim, picking out and place the outdoor stair-steppers on wood They came in a box flat, not rolled Excellent quality I have the charcoal They have some cush to them There is no sticky stuff on the back so I staple them to the wood, staples were silver I just put a little magic marker that’s black colored the staples and it looks perfect Best part my cat loves them..
