Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. This little desk mounted cat bed exceeded my expectations even when I installed it in a non traditional way. I have mine mounted onto a little side table in our living room between two arm chairs. One of our cats loves to sit with us but also have her own space. This was a perfect solution to that. As long as it is positioned so that the cat bed is over the center of the side table it is incredibly sturdy. She is somewhere between thirteen to fifteen pounds and has no issues jumping onto and off of the cat bed. It doesnt wobble or shake the side table so the space is still usable for glasses or other little things. Assembly was easy i did it myself in about seven minutes. The bed is large enough for her to stretch out on or just curl up and take a nap. My cats are happy with it so im happy with it. It is quite hefty as a heads up the support arms are metal and the pivot works well to move her around and out of the way. I definitely like this enclosure. It keeps everything put away, my cat has no issue with it. It was easy to assemble but it could be a little difficult adjusting once done. Don’t tackle assembly until you are feeling patient and have plenty of time. It took three hours to assemble, but all the parts were present and it wasn’t hard… just time consuming to get it right. I decided to paint this cat cage the same color as my house and detached garage. It is so cute. I’m so happy with how it turned out aesthetically and the cats really love it too.
