This Beautyrest topper really helps! After a 10 year old Serta Perfect sleeper had started to fail, I thought this would help my osteoarthritic and scoliosis lower back to give more support in order to sleep better until I can replace the platform bed mattress. We recently purchased a new mattress and it turned out to be not as soft as we'd hoped, so we purchased this mattress topper. It did come with some rust like marks on one side, but the other side looks just fine. I did tear it a little with my thumb when I was trying to position it better on the bed, which surprised me.
