Was a little worried on ordering a replacement sleeper mattress online without seeing it in person but this mattress is great. You’ll need to let it fully inflate so your sofa will be out of commission during that time. This is nice quality, but I would not call it a mattress, I would call it a nice memory foam topper. This is not something you can just put on the floor and have guests sleep on, it’s not thick enough or firm enough. I’m going to use this on top of an air bed for guests so it will be a great mattress topper, but the name of the product is just a little bit misleading, even though they say it has to be used in a camper, etc. If you purchase this to use as a mattress alone, you will be disappointed, however, if you purchase it to use as a nice mattress topper, I think you will be very pleased with the quality.. The cushions are vacuum-compressed for packaging. Before installation, please firmly pat the cushions to help the silk cotton quickly expand and fill the entire cushion. It usually takes 2-3 days for cushions to fully plump up to optimal state.

It is just the size I needed. I was surprised at how easily and quickly I put it together by myself. Only needed help setting it upright and moving it to the rug. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort.
