This bed was so easy to put together. It’s great quality. I really like it. I got the chestnut color in a king and it goes great with the acorn night stands I also purchased from Wayfair. You will notice there is a bit of a lip around where your mattress sits. If you are not used to this you may pinch your legs the first couple days getting out of bed. I ordered the queen size in espresso. I was able to build this by myself in under 2 hours. I just put the Golden Girls on the tv and started building! The socket wrench was a blessing. I have a drill but I didn’t need it. The instructions were easy to follow. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and placed the nonskid pads on the legs before assembly. Makes a big difference. I ordered this bed to go with my headboard (also from Wayfair) and it is a perfect color match! However, there are no holes in the bed in order to connect them. No big deal to me, I'll just zip tie them if I have to. So far there have been no issues with sturdiness. The height description is accurate. I wish there had been a 14 inch height option. The top of my mattress sits at about 28 inches from the ground so I feel like I'm a little too high up, but I will get used to it. The only thing I’m not pleased with are the center supports attached to the slats, which show underneath when looking from the side, unless you have a long bedspread. Well I wanted a solid wood bed and that was hard to find. I was happy to find one at Wayfair. It took two of us to put it together ( in our 60’s) but it was not difficult at all.
