This is a beautiful desk and solid. Followed the directions page by page and had no issues. Took my time, had the football game on TV and poured myself a cocktail during the build. I love this desk! To simplify our golden years we purchased a 2100 sf home. For the office I ordered this desk in Brown (47.23” width) and it fits perfectly. It is well made, the trim and color variation are lovely. Very simple to assemble for two people by attaching the legs to desk. Everything was securely wrapped and padded when boxed for shipment. I no longer need a deep file drawer, as I don’t keep tons of files these days. (I use a portable file box tote that is easily accessible and ready to transport during an emergency). The desk is very nice and what I needed for my office. The top is especially nice. I would not have paid the full price for it, but the discounted price was worth it. It took me about four hours to put together by myself however the instructions were pretty easy to follow. I’m not sure if I was sent the right color though. It’s a nice, dense wood, unfinished desk and matching cabinet. I took a star off of the rating because the shipment was missing all three wooden knobs/pulls for the cabinet. I didn’t bother to ask for replacements because I plan to buy some decorative pulls for them anyway, but it was inconvenient that I had to scrounge up some old knobs just to be able to put the drawers in and use it in the meantime.. Absolutely love this desk. I searched forever to find the perfect size desk with the storage needed plus the cute factor. Works perfectly and hits all the things we needed. i would have taken a picture but it’s too messy and would cloud y’all’s judgement of how good a purchase this is. Plenty of drawer space on both sides plus the pull out keyboard drawer that we end up using for pens and other small supplies.
