I bought this chair 24 years ago at a fine furniture store. They did their service for multiple generations. Fast forward to now and I was looking for 4 dining chairs for a new home. Now, I'm not worried about myself breaking it, as I only weigh 135lbs. But if I was significantly heavier... I wonder how long it would last. Overall: at time of writing, I reviewed the various options, and this was the nicest quality chair on Wayfair in this price range and in the finish that I wanted. This is a great chair. I wanted something simple but with arms and it’s perfect. It was easy to put together. The blue is a great color and the finish is flawless. My only advice is - before putting it together - screw the bolts in their matching holes in the arms and legs to clear the holes and then back them out. This will make the assembly easier..
