A fully finished back panel adds versatile placement options, letting you position it against a wall or use it to divide your space. The color and style are perfect in our bedroom, however the first try arrived damaged and trying to re-box it in the original cut-apart, damaged box was not fun. The replacement arrived about a month after the initial, damaged shelf and is in good shape. This is the second time we have ordered a wood product that arrived damaged. I like the final result this time though. Last time the replacement console table was worse than the first one!. Ruth. Franklin, TN. Sat Sep 19 2026

This bookcase was exactly what I hoped for. I ordered 3 and was a bit nervous because another reviewer advised against trying to put multiple cases next to one another because they were reportedly crooked. However, I took a chance and hired someone to assemble them for me and they look fantastic next to one another! The bookcases are heavy and made of sturdy material and add a touch of elegance to my living room. The cherry oak matches my other furniture perfectly. Highly recommend!. Tiffany. Seattle. Standard Bookcase offers high-quality laminate construction and contemporary design. Shelves are thick and made with thermally fused, laminate for long-lasting use. The visible, one-piece backing behind the shelves is made with matching laminate. Both sides are finished. The bookcase features adjustable shelves, one fixed bottom shelf, square edges, and adjustable feet.

This is a beautiful piece actually; it’s quite nice for the price point. Of course the instructions only show pictures with lots and lots of small detail and it’s always nice to have written instructions alongside. It took us longer to put together than it should have. One additional mention which I will be contacting you about is the back of the bookcase requires about 20 drilled holes to receive the final back piece to complete the project. Only two screw holes are drilled at the top of the bookcase, and none of the other holes are pre-drilled. We will have to drill the holes ourselves. Other than that, we are satisfied.. Patricia. This bookcase is beautiful and looks just like it’s listed picture. I love that it is REAL wood and not particle board. The delivery was quick and smooth. My only complaint is that it was not at all wrapped in any way to protect it from bumps or dings, but thankfully, there was no damage.. Christine. Roselle, IL. Fri Oct 23 2026

This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again..
