Highly satisfied, highly recommended! I read a review that said these didn't work, but there were enough positive reviews that I decided to try them anyway. Either that person got a dud, or they did not move the switch the whole way to 'on.' The switch isn't white as shown on the enclosed directions, nor is it positioned on the topside. The switch is as black as the rest of the lamp and on the underside, so it took me a while to find it. But, right out of the box, in a dim livingroom, they came on! I hung them at either end of a wrought iron railing to light a short set of concrete steps that the beam from my entry door light doesn't reach. I set them out right around 6PM, thinking they wouldn't get much of a charge before dusk and would probably not light up the first night. Wrong! Not only did they light up, but during a 4AM potty trip I peeked out of my bedroom window to see if they were still lit and they were burning brightly! This photo was taken right at dusk a few days later. They come on before it's totally dark, and last through the entire night. I couldn't be happier. Now, that set of steps won't be a challenge when I come home from work on a winter evening when it truly is dark outside. ADDED NOTE 6 MONTHS LATER: After 6 months out in the weather in eastern Pennsylvania, the top of the light housing is rusting which is causing the metal staves surrounding the lights to fall off.
