Solar Chinese Lanterns

Add a sophisticated touch to your outdoor décor with this set of 3 round solar powered lanterns. These 8" lanterns are not limited with cords or plugs, so you can hang them anywhere outside to perfectly accent your outdoor surroundings. Each lantern has a built-in solar panel, an on/off switch, and comes with one AA-Ni-MH-300 battery. The solar panel collects direct sunlight all day and will glow for 6-7 hours. The lanterns are composed of white nylon and are collapsible and portable.

These lanterns are beautiful! I got the bronze. They are well made with attention to detail. The instructions state to charge them for 6 hours. I received them at 3:45 pm. My apartment faces east, and the sun was already over my apartment building, no longer on my balcony or coming in any windows. I set them on the balcony receiving only daylight. At dark, they lit right up full power. So, either they were already charged, or the daylight was adequate for charging. I get only about 3 hours of sun on my balcony due to trees and the building east of mine being higher on a ridge and blocking sun at times , so they have never been charged for 6 hours straight. Every night, they light up. My photo shows one in the cool mode and one in the warm mode for comparison. I prefer the warm glow mode.. Kimberly. Carlsbad, CA. Sat Aug 01 2026
