Updated Review - the manufacturer reached out regarding the defects and has made a commitment to make it right. The bed itself barring the obvious damage on arrival went together okay. It was a time consuming build, and the instructions werent as clear as they could have been. I had a ticketed carpenter friend assist in the build and it still took about 4 hours. Set aside the time. The quality of this bed is very sturdy but man…the build was intense. It look my husband and I 12 hours to get this thing built, although we did have to take off the ceiling fan and install a flush light during this time.
