I left one star out because of the screws for the corner seat. They're not long enough so you really got to stuff the alley key in there. Overall the couch is decent and this is a 2-3 person job due to weight. Also a different more precise manual comes in the package than what's on the website. It's very comfortable and has a movie night feel to it. The cushions sink you into the couch almost so all you need is a blanket. Wrist and fingers will hurt from all the twisting but it's worth it. Says a screwdriver is needed but it's not. The alley key is way more useful because of how the screws are shaped at the top. It's a little wide but still fits in my cottage-sized living space. There is a new couch scent so baking soda and vacuuming is a must if you can't stand it but like most new furniture it will eventually dissipate. I hope writing this review helps someone else who may be on the fence. The color is beautiful and neutral, and the material feels high end. The extendable backs are cool. During the day we keep it smaller because I prefer the look, but for lounging or movie watching we push them back, it’s easy to do, feel sturdy, and the mechanism works seamlessly. I couldn’t find a better picture, but I really loved this couch. It was easy to clean and held up well since my initial purchase in 2023. I also loved that the decorative pillows came with it because they matched the couch perfectly and made it look really nice in my living room. The only reason I’m getting rid of it now is because my cats unfortunately tore up the sides despite my attempts to protect it. Lesson learned — I also wish I had purchased the insurance. One thing to note is that liquids can seep through the fabric. When my cat had an accident, some of it went through even though I cleaned it quickly. Also, removing the cushion covers from the back of the pillows can be a bit difficult. Overall, I really did enjoy this couch and would buy it again if I didn’t have cats. This sectional is pretty great for the price in comparison with department store couches it ranks along with much more expensive sectionals. I would say the firmness is a medium firm. Not a super soft feel or not a cloud couch feel either. The chenille fabric is very good quality and the black is a true deep black not a charcoal like other brands models. I like the size and different configurations available. I also like that all the cushions have velcro to attach them in place. The rounded edges of the cushions give it a perfect relaxed feel. This is a very nice looking sectional. Love the color and the functionality of it. Is comfortable enough to watch tvmovies but not enough to take a nice nap. It came with a glue type stain and all the offered was a very low discount and if I wanted a replacement I needed to cover the shipping fee which was not worth it so I have to keep it like that. My packages came into separate shipments. Both drivers were very professional and efficient and timely. The process itself was a bit frustrating as the original shipment was delayed by four days, and the second package. They didn’t even know where it was. Originally ordered July 2 and now has shown up on the 14th so 12 days. There was a big lack of communication in the process in what I could expect regarding the delivery.
