I bought it in walnut. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy. I put it together my self (55F) over the course of a few hours after work with no issues. The only issue I had was that it had a defect in the glaze on front. The manufacturer offered a nice discount, so I decided to keep it. This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together. Very pretty. Instructions were clear, but I also put together a lot of furniture. Easy to follow if you know what you’re doing. Took a couple hours, but the longest part was trying to get the doors completely even after they were installed. I see a lot of other people say that theirs are not even, but the hinges are designed to be movable up and down, in and out, etc.. Great cabinets for the price. I changed the knobs to go with my decor. The reason for a four start vs five star is because when I first purchased the cabinets the description said solid wood. Then after item shipped I looked at the item again because I was excited and the description had changed. It no longer said solid wood and a review popped up that hadnt been there saying it wasnt solid wood as they had expected so the description had been updated. I ended up keeping it because I needed something right away. Ive had them for some time now and still like it. It feels very sturdy and well made, and there is a surprising amount of storage inside. Ours came preassembled, which was a huge plus. That said, it is quite large and heavy, so I’m very glad I selected in-room delivery. For scale, I’m using this in a 14x14 dining room, and the 72” length fits perfectly centered along one wall without overwhelming the space.
