I like this because it helps with my back problem.. Susan. NJ. Sun Oct 14 2018

This plush, soft pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

Softness is perfect without being too flat or too fluffy. Sarah. Troy, NY. Thu Feb 26 2026

OMG I love these pillows. They are so fluffy but soft and I have two sets of them luckily and as you can see in my photo, both are in silk pillowcases, but the one on the left is the Sarthe Down Alternative Medium Support Pillow by and the other is a regular down, medium Support pillow. I will probably order another set because they are so wonderful. I highly recommend them Alwyn Home. Gabrielle. Jacksonville, FL. Mon Oct 19 2026
