Cute desk. Took several hours to assemble. I wish the instruction would have descriptions rather than just pictures. Don't use power tools. The hardest part to follow was the railings for the drawers, I got some of them backwards and had to fix when I got to the drawer assembly. Our solid pine cottage series desk can be used as either a desk or a vanity. The solid wood turnings and drawer front treatment emphasize the quality. Drawers are constructed using real dovetail joints and wooden drawer runners.

This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. We purchased this small computer desk for our daughters room. She has a small room so this fit perfectly in a small corner within her room and is perfect for her needs. Now she can use it to do her school work instead of laying out on her bed or on the floor. It was really easy to put together and the directions were pretty straightforward. It is lightweight but still somehow feels sturdy. We really like the addition of the fabric drawers which she can use to store small items.
