It is fine. I got the mahgoney. The color online looked lighter but it is truer to mahogany in person. I almost didnt buy because of the complaints about assembly and quality. I had no problems. Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment. Great desk and deal! Needed a small light grey desk for son’s room. Price of this was 400 less than the desk matching his bed. I opted for the Angie installation, it worked great, he put together quickly and well, said it was not difficult. Drawer and cabinet operate smoothly. Color is a nice, super light grey. I included the chair as I would also call the chair wood light grey so you can see the scale of color between the two and the white of the cushion.. Sarah. Fort Myers, FL. Tue Jul 21 2026

Our solid pine cottage series desk can be used as either a desk or a vanity. The solid wood turnings and drawer front treatment emphasize the quality. Drawers are constructed using real dovetail joints and wooden drawer runners.

This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. It is soft pine so I will need to put a glass cover on the top if I want to write on it. I will add pics as soon as it is all the way together.. Anonymous. Thu Jun 11 2026

This classic secretary desk has a small design, making it an ideal choice for compact spaces. It's made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, and it rests on ogee-style bracket feet. The finish reveals the wood's grain variation (knots and all) for plenty of French country charm in your living room or bedroom. This desk is crafted with mortise and tenon joinery for a well-made touch. We love that the drawers give you a place to stash papers, pens, and other office supplies, while a drop-down front reveals space for your laptop and additional items. Best of all, no assembly is required, so you don't have to wait to tackle that project.

Love it! It's just what I need. (Could have wished for better delivery service, though. FedEx just left the box on my sidewalk (even though I was home), and there was no way I could move it myself (am a senior). I eventually enlisted the help of a friend plus a neighbor to get the box inside.... and it was about to rain at the time.) But I still love the desk!. Elaine. Winnipeg, MB. Mon Sep 21 2026

This desk blends farmhouse charm with modern functionality. Multiple storage drawers keep office supplies neatly organized, while the adjustable file system ensures efficient document management. Designed for both style and practicality, it creates a productive and inviting work environment.
