Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment. I don’t want to look at that computer after hours! Penny the pup approves this purchase!. Cheri. Chandler, TX. Sat May 16 2026

After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026

It’s beautiful and well crafted, but a little top-heavy and wobbly. I also didn’t expect the insert to not be attached! Easy fix though to just mount it to the wall.. Rosie. Maryland. Sun Jul 12 2026

A cabinet door opens to two inner shelves for books and important files. And another drawer provides more storage space for other items. This rustic writing desk offers a welcoming workspace with ample storage options. Crafted from kiln-dried acacia wood, it features a solid top and base for a cohesive look. The desk has two soft-close drawers and three exterior shelves, providing space for your office essentials and decorative items. Bonus: We love that the built-in outlets and USB ports make keeping your devices charged and organized easy. This desk's charming wood grain finish brings warmth and character to your home office or study. This desk has a weight capacity of 150 lbs.

Like many other reviewers have written, the wood is good quality and the desk feels very solidly built and looks beautiful, but the assembly process is very difficult because the pre-drilled holes do not line up, which means the manufacturing process was not very precise. One of the cam nuts actually snapped and there were no extra hardware included as with almost all other furniture of this type. Fortunately I had an extra cam nut from another piece that I was able to use. If the manufacturing process improved, this would have been a perfect piece.. Sam. Cleveland, OH. Wed Sep 30 2026

Inspired by Charleston's classic coastal charm and rich history, this venerable secretary is finished in the heirloom-quality black cherry dark patina. Accented by hand painting on the drop-front lid, the secretary features a robust leather writing insert, 3 cubbies for storage, and 3 small drawers behind the drop-front, along with 3 lower drawers with self-closing drawer guides and cherry-colored interiors—pewter-colored pulls.

Feels like an antique one might purchase in Charleston. Very heavy. Had it in a bedroom and it worked as a desk and side table next to a bed. Now, it sits by the door for keys and mail as we enter the house. It works beautifully in that new spot as well.. M. Florida. Sun Aug 23 2026
