It is not a huge, oversized chair - but that's great because we needed something that would pair nicely with our existing living room furniture without swallowing up the room. My only concern is keeping it clean with 2 teenage boys...but we shall see. It looks like it can be spot cleaned pretty well, but time will tell. I also would've loved it be just a wee bit darker beige, but it is a nice creamy color (in pics the view from behind is more accurate color in person). It is very comfortable, and I love that it is "push back" without extra latches, pulls, pockets, or needs to be plugged in to recline. The chair and ottoman are and look very nice. It only took 3 days for delivery, which was nice. It was fairly easy to put together, took about 30-40 minutes. The color is more almond/cream in color than the advertised ivory. The chair sits much lower to the floor than I thought it would. Much lower than our previous recliner chair - so be aware. When I purchased this chair and ottoman it was on sale, a very good price for this product. After receiving the chair and ottoman, I now wish I had purchased two. Few things 1. Box is heavy - need two people to carry inside 2. The chair cushion is firm but comfy - and because of that, I find sits a bit high. Am hoping with time seat cushion will mellow a bit. 3. My husband and I are both under 6’ I can see if you are taller than that the chair especially in reclined mode will not fit you well. 4. The chair does fully recline to an almost horizontal mode you just need to pull the chair away from the wall if you have it close to allow space. It’s comfortable, has good lumbar support and not too much head support which my neck likes. As others have said, it won’t stay fully back in the reclined position which is ok. I just watch tv in it.
