This prefabricated storage shed 5-foot wide double door makes it easy to move larger items into this handy space. The higher 7-foot walls add more headroom as well. This collection makes a great addition to any backyard.

This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed! The storage shed makes a wonderful cottage, extra bedroom for your backyard, craft shed or backyard art studio. With high walls, the gable porch is an ideal spot for a couple of chairs and a small patio table.

Am pleased with the shed, but too many complications with the order. Late arrival, order was not correct. The shed I ordered was supposed to be for the larger shed than the one I received . Two out of three crates were for the smaller shed, and one crate was for the larger shed (it was for the porch which didn't fit the smaller shed). Cedar Checking: “Cracks” in your Cedar item?! Don’t worry it is completely natural and should be expected in most solid wood and log furniture and will not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. Due to the innate characteristics of wood, as it seasons and dries over time, it shrinks and swells at different rates. Because the stress is unequal across the wood fibers, it splits and creates those cracks, or “checks.” Some might see a crack and question the structural integrity of the wood; however, it is becoming stronger as its density increases through the seasoning process (less moisture = denser). In log furniture, the checks will not surpass the center of the log and will sometimes have a secondary check.

The window also offers enough light and with the addition of a potting bench, the Gardener Cedar Wood Storage Shed becomes a very comfortable and bright workspace. The little garden shed size makes a great poolside changing room or backyard storage building.

We even operate our own cedar sawmill that produces lumber for our furniture! Northern white cedar is extremely light and quite soft but boasts excellent decay resistance and strength despite these characteristics. Cedar Log is our most complete collection, and one of our most popular lines of furniture. Seeing as we have more than 25 years of experience building it, we have it down to a science – as such, no one can boast a more solidly-built, beautiful natural log furniture.

For heavily used surfaces, we also offer an optional Armor or Liquid Glass finish to increase its lifespan! Armor finish provides a medium satin sheen, our premium quality, post-catalyzed, alkyd-amino varnish is formulated to offer superior durability, and UV protection. It helps prevent scratching and denting. Liquid Glass finish provides a high gloss sheen, this upgrade finish is made from a two-part epoxy. Equivalent to 50 coats of polyurethane, the finish is tough, yet flexible and not prone to shattering from impact.
