It’s a decent cabinet and fits nicely where we needed it. Three disappointing issues we found 1. There is some sort of a mar on top. It is Not backing from a sticker- there was no sticker on it. It is more like dyed glue or the coating. See photo 2. Assembly went very well until the last step- putting the door on. Every screw needed had predrilled holes EXCEPT the door. We had quite a time getting it lined up. 3.the chemical smell is no joke, as many others have mentioned. We put it on the screened porch with the cabinet door open. Got the brown color—it’s a bit darker in person, more like walnut, but I still like it. Feels sturdy and well made. Assembly took a few hours, mainly because I had to adjust the hinges to fix a large gap between the doors. The instructions explain how to adjust them, but not when it’s needed. I purchased this cabinet to store my newest hobby, solo board games. I didn't want to leave them on the counter to get damaged and take up precious space but they needed to be protected from the cats so no open shelves. The dimensions were as described, assembly took me a little longer than an hour but I wasn't rushing, trying to do it right. The video on the cabinet's page helped, it just left out the little plastic stabilizers for the back. Those made a WORLD of difference if you unpack it and don't know what they are. And I had to get out some screwdrivers used on glasses for the door plates, I didn't have anything small enough in my tool kit and they were getting stripped with what I did have. Three of the four top corners had crushing damage that was not showing on the box or styrofoam packing material, which means it was either an open box situation that Wayfair sent out again by mistake or it happened at the factory during packing. The interior door stops were also ripped off somehow, damaging the wood piece they were screwed into and leaving us unable to reattach the door stops. That being said, the manufacturer gave us every option to replace the cabinet but we decided to just keep it and accept a partial refund, as it still is a solid and useful cabinet and for what we need it for the damage doesn't negate its functionality. If undamaged, it would be a beautiful addition to any room. The manufacturer is very helpful and obviously customer service is very important to them, which I always appreciate.
