This cart is just the right size for a small “kitchen island” it’s a landing spot when I’m pulling multiple items out of the refrigerator and a good place to set up drinks or plates and utensils when we are entertaining. We installed the wheels instead of the bun feet so we can move it out of the kitchen when needed. I’m using it to store cutting boards, baking pans and containers for leftovers. I’ve had lots of complements and friends wanting to know where I found it. It’s a pretty good match with the dark cherry cabinets. Nice quality piece of furniture. The granite top looks darker online, but like another customer stated, could be just the differences in the natural granite. Mine was more of a light cream colored. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. The cart assembled does look beautiful but it is a little wobbly like most ppl state and also the granite I understand has its imperfections but it has Teo large spots on it which take away from its beauty that are quite noticeable. Also the item is overpriced on way fair much cheaper elsewhere but unfortunately it wasn’t in stock right at this moment so my order was cancelled and I needed it ASAP so I had to pay more to get it as wayfair Had in stock. This cart is functional, pretty, and exactly what I needed for my kitchen space. Solid wood, easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. It lost one star because I only received one cabinet knob, not two, and had to run to the hardware store to purchase replacements to complete the build. The customer service center was closed for the weekend by the time I realized the error, but regardless I wanted it completed, so off I went. Replacement knobs in hand, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. Getting the top placed correctly was a teensy bit tricky, I do wish there had been some indication as to what was the front or back, but I managed to get it done. The counter top came a few days before the rest, well packaged and protected during shipping. The cart was also delivered safely and problem free in a big box. We like this cart but the granite top is not secured to the bottom half of the island. Also, the cabinet doors don't close properly so we've tried to adjust the hinges and one side is fine but we can't seem to get the other side to close without the doors rubbing each other. The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. This works perfectly in our kitchen. I did have to put wheel rubber stops under the wheels, so no movement. I didnt need the rack and paper towel holder.
