Love this bed! I’m very happy with the shape, fabric, and color. I specifically wanted a bed with both a footboard and a tall headboard, and this checked all the boxes for me. It feels sturdy and well made, and the white glove delivery service was excellent. One thing I’d recommend to future buyers is to pay close attention to the height measurements. The headboard is VERY tall and makes a big visual statement, which I love, but it also takes up a lot of visual space in the room. Initially, my mattress setup felt lower to the ground than expected because I forgot to account for the fact that my previous mattress and box spring had been sitting on an A-frame foundation. Because of that, there was much more headboard visible above me than I anticipated. I was able to easily fix the issue by adding a 4-inch mattress topper/pad, which made a huge difference in the proportions and overall feel. I watched the assembly of this bed. It’s clearly very sturdy, with strong slats and a central heavy board down the middle to support the slats. It’s handsome as well. However, with a modern 12” deep mattress, the headboard only extends 2.5” above the mattress (without any mattress pad or sheets) so it remains to be seen how comfortable this is for sleepers, since the headboard will not provide much support for their pillows. Great quality bed. Outstanding fabric and very well made. However, this is a total Engineering disaster. A bed should be solid and not assemble with hooks for the main frame and snap-in holder for a middle support which rotates. It should be a solid structure which holds together with bolds and attaches to the headboard with bolts. It is very wobbly. Good thing its for the guest bedroom.
