Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. It is the compact size that I needed and stairs are very sturdy. The table??? I would have liked the table top to be a bit thicker. Also, the drop leaf when extended (supports fully extended) does drop down approximately 1/ 4" from the edge of the table top, to the edge of the leaf.
