A plush feel adds comfort underfoot, while the TPR backing helps keep the mat more stable as people and pets move through the space. Machine washable for easy routine care, it is a practical choice for busy entryways, mudrooms, kitchens, laundry areas, and other high-traffic spaces. Finished with a distinctive two-tone plaid-inspired pattern, this mat adds a warm, welcoming touch without overwhelming the surrounding décor.

This doormat looks like it will work great for grabbing dirt from outside on shoes and paws so it doesn’t track into the house. The reason I think this is that the material is rougher, and woven so that surface up close is not smooth and flat. It’s more like a loop weave. I am not sure how absorbent it will be, but it does seem like you could absorb excess fluid with a towel if needed. I live in a region with lots of rain and snow, so there can be a lot of moisture at the door. The backing makes the rug nonslip. The door clears it well.. Brittnee. Rutland, VT. Tue Jun 16 2026

These doormats are the highest quality and most durable mats available. Made of 100% polypropylene and rubber-backed for added strength, this attractive doormat is made to withstand your highest traffic areas without showing walking patterns. Wonderful. Miriam. Margate City, NJ. Wed Oct 21 2026

Naturally harvested coir fibers are hand-woven using traditional looms and then sheared to create a dense pile that helps to trap dirt, and moisture, and clean shoes. Elegant designs are hand stenciled on the doormat using fade-resistant dyes. Heavy coir backing keeps the doormat in place and locks the fibers in to minimize shedding. Coir fiber is naturally mold and mildew-resistant. Handmade from coir fibers, a renewable resource, coir mats are environmentally friendly and made with a minimal carbon footprint. Coir mats are completely biodegradable and compostable. For optimal results, the manufacturer suggests using this doormat in a sheltered area, such as a covered porch, and keeping exposure to extreme moisture and sunlight to a minimum. If the doormats are excessively exposed to the elements, some color transfer may occur onto natural stone, concrete, or other surfaces and stenciled designs may eventually fade. The texture of the fibers is normal and adds a special character to each individual doormat. During the first few weeks, it is normal for the coir doormat to shed fibers.

This doormat's densely tufted, very durable, and functional coir fibers help remove dirt and moisture from shoes. The heavy base keeps the doormat in place. Made from renewable material and compostable, which is naturally molded and mildew resistant. With an almost two-inch pile height, this mat has an elegant profile. Be aware that this mat is very thick at 2-14”. My outward opening screen door would not clear the height. It would be helpful if this were noted in the description. To return the mat I was charged 5 fee. Very disappointing.. Tracy. Gresham, OR. Sun Jun 21 2026
