I was pleasantly surprised by this item. I ordered knowing it was a cheaper buy but I am very pleased with it. Comes in one big heavy box. Very easy to put together. Comes largely put together and you have to slot in a couple of pieces and that is it. Took 15 mins with 2 of us. Fabric is surprisingly good for the price and is nice to the touch. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort. Love the Quaility and modular construction. Very easy to put together. Day 2 of delivery and still see a little sign of compression on back cushions but expect that to decompress with time. The microfiber material seen very good in Quaility. My only minor issue was a few springs on the pull out had fallen out and need to be reinstalled but nothing after that. I would recommend it. Pull out the bed frame under the seat. There are two length options. When it is not fully pulled out, it becomes a chaise sofa, and when it is fully pulled out, this sofa can quickly turn into a Queen-size bed for resting. Was a little worried on ordering a replacement sleeper mattress online without seeing it in person but this mattress is great. You’ll need to let it fully inflate so your sofa will be out of commission during that time. Was also worried about the thinness and if it was going to be comfortable or fit a mattress pad ok..and the pad fits perfect on top and the weight of the mattress keeps the pad from curling up. Paul. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area.
