The style of this loveseat is what won me over. It has a chic mid-century modern look with clean square arms, and the velvet gives it a polished, stylish feel thats perfect for a small room. Assembly was doable, though the order of the directions could use some adjusting to make them clearer. I had to stop and figure out a few steps, but ultimately I was able to build the couch. The biggest issue was the seat cushion. The cushion was way too big for the cover that was provided, and the zipper ripped when I tried to get it on. I opened a case with the manufacturer, and while the process was a bit clunky, they did follow through and sent me a new cushion cover. I appreciate that they made it right, but it shouldnt have been a problem in the first place. As for the velvet, time will tell whether it holds up to regular wear and tear.
