I purchased this sleep sofa for my family room. If I need an extra sleep space for guests, this is what I selected. My number 1 reason for selecting this sofa is because it’s from Stearns Foster. I already own a mattress from them and have been extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort. I purposely sought out Stearns Foster to see if they even offered sleep sofas. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. Stunning!! Just arrived and it’s beautiful. I chose the Bayou Off White. Classic white and soft fabric. Perfect for costal or classic traditional decor. Gives a linen look that is soft and timeless. Not a stark white. Has just enough warmth! If looking for a white performance fabric get Nomad White. This sofa also comes with four pillows in the same custom fabric you choose. This also comes with a sleeper bed so it makes it a little heavier. So two people are needed to move it. I was pleasantly surprised by this item. I ordered knowing it was a cheaper buy but I am very pleased with it. Comes in one big heavy box. Very easy to put together. Comes largely put together and you have to slot in a couple of pieces and that is it. Took 15 mins with 2 of us. Fabric is surprisingly good for the price and is nice to the touch. The seat part of the sofa is not hard but not soft. I would say medium to soft but this is understandable given it is a sofa bed and I am overall very impressed with its comfort.
