Im so happy with this tile. It looks amazing. I used a charcoal grey grout and laid in a diamond pattern. So sophisticated. The shipping was excellent with plenty of updates, although they did not follow my instructions to place it under my carport. I ordered 230 sq ft and it arrived on a pallet with only maybe one tile chipped. The finished job is smooth and even despite it being a natural stone with plenty of variation. I would caution the installer to be careful with the tile. The beauty of Natural Stone products lends itself to natural variations in tiles. Variations of veining, colors, and shade an inherent characteristics of the stone - -slate. These variations are expected and intended from tile to tile and from lot to lot. Keep shade variation in mind as you are selecting your tile.

Used these beautiful tiles to cover an outdoor pathway. Have received tons of compliments from everyone who passes by. The tile must be set over concrete for the additional support to hold up. We placed three tiles alongside eachother to form a 48" wide row and separated each row going back with red polished small pebbles to pick up the colors in the tiles. I would recommend no more than 2" between each row of pebbles, especially if you need to pull a wheelchair or any wheeling object along the path. Pros: Great and unique look, designer look, looks very expensive, was a great value, Cons: Need to see wear over time, must be careful with handling as they are not too thick. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. Rugged and classic, Slate Attaché 12" x 24" Porcelain Mosaic Tile brings a combination of rustic durability and timeless warmth to any room.

We chose this tile for a basement hallway project. It was significantly less expensive than several other styles we were considering, and was also a small (2x2) mosaic style which was necessary to conform to the cracks and bumps of our 100 year old basement floor. I will note that the color is far more an "olive brown" than anything resembling green. Also, the tiles must have been stored in a hot warehouse, or perhaps a hot delivery van because the sheets were firmly stuck together and were a pain in the neck to separate without damaging the tile. The tile does look very nice, with a fair amount of variation and seems to be of good quality. It will look best with a medium to fairly dark warm grout. Overall, we are happy with this product..
