Update: Finally got a quick break in the weather & got the Patio installed. Overall was a project but not to the point it wasn't possible. Missing 2 pieces of interior roof edge molding for which Wayfair replaced pretty fast. Only thing not on board with is the post are not solid beams but hollow wrapped 4 pieced beams. One you can actually see a split in the construction of one of them Very happy to finally have a fixed roof gazebo. Did ratchet strap it to the tree's as we get very high winds here. Original post: Ships on 4 very heavy boxes. Came on 2 different shipments. By the look of it will be quite spectacular when completed. Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. We read the reviews for this gazebo and purchased it despite the naysayers. We got a local quote to assemble it for $3,600. No thanks, we Just finished assembling the gazebo itself. It took a total of 20.5 hours over 5 days, including unboxing, parts inventory, staging and assembly. 16 hours with two people and 4.5 hours with 3 people. overall quality and engineering is pretty good. Only a couple of screw holes required modification (wall anchors). Instructions are not great, but usable if you read them several times and take your time. If you want to DIY this gazebo, make sure you have a couple of good step ladders, a decent cordless drill and 2 or 3 6-foot folding tables for laying out parts and to work on. If you try and assemble this kit with the tools provided, it will take you at least twice as long, maybe longer. Plan on working no more than 4 hours a day...it is tedious and tiring. Also, cooler weather and overcast days are better. We are a 65-year-old couple in decent health. If we can do this, anyone can with proper preparation, tools and patience.... Anonymous. I’ve had this for around 3 weeks now. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is I thought the frame was going to be black instead of brown in color so I don’t think the brown looks good with the gray top but overall it is very sturdy and well may but it was hard for one person to put together so it took three people to put it together and about three hours I would say. It works great for any time of year and we have really enjoyed it this summer so far because it has kept the bugs out and and have used the fire pit under it and been able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy it.. This is a larger undertaking than building a dresser but with the right tools anyone can do it. I personally had to poor a concreete slab for the hottub. for the Gazebo itself it took me the weekend to install it with my brothers help. def a 2 man job and I wouldnt expect to instlal it by yourself. Don’t freak out if the box it comes in has the wrong dimensions printed on it. The one I got said 10x10, but I ordered 10x12. I had to Google it, and I read that as long as the stickers with the QR code says 10x12, it’s probably going to be the right size. They just use the same box for multiple sizes. The color was true to the photos, on the site. The fabric is a good weight, and quality. The only thing that would make it better, is if there was more velcro on the tie backs, so it would be more adjustable. I had to leave it loose. Also, some thin ties at the bottom would have been nice, to help keep it from lifting as much, when it’s really windy, and raining. It rained after installation, and the water did bead up on the fabric, so it is water resistant, like they say in the description. Over all, it is a quality product!
