This is the best mattress in I have owned in over 40 years, and at one time I sold mattresses. It is a little firm at first which is great for a heavy person that needs support. It is a very thick mattress which takes you several inches higher than most mattresses. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. Great mattress! I have chronic back pain due to scoliosis. I initially purchased a dreamcloud firm mattress and it felt too soft. Swapped it for this one and I couldn’t be happier! Bought this for the primary bedroom. It is a little higher than I expected with my bed frame, but not so much that I need a ladder or step stool to get in bed. I wanted a mattress that was somewhat firm but had a pillow top. I found this. So far, and it has been a month, I love it. Nothing aches when I get up in the morning. This Futon and Mattress is a classic hardwood frame with mission style arms. This unique and versatile queen size futon sofa easily converts to a bed. This multifunctional piece of furniture can find a home in just about any type of room.

Fairly straightforward assembly. Delivery was very quick and easy. Only problem is that the mattress is very top heavy, and much more of it goes up and down than on the seat.
