Fairly easy to build. I did it all on my own, took about 12hrs however I took several breaks and I was building 2 of these desks. I am finding this computer desk to not only be helpful with the storage of various items but also a great sitting desk for when I do have my chair to pair with. Unfortunately my son removed this chair while he is home, so the pictures I have are without a chair. BUT this is a nice desk! Did I run into some snags while making ? Yep! Do I usually, also yep! I got this desk to update my daughters play area, as seen from pictures. You can't see the desk, but it's there. It's a good size, not too big and not too small and the colors are as described on the webpage. Assembly was normal for this type of desk. Drawers slide well and hold a decent amount of precious small things. I like how the shelves are accessible from both sides rather than having a back (see other pic). I did pick up the desk to move it and snapped the top part off....very jankily kept together, so if you move it...use two people and be mindful where you grab cus that top desk part will blow off in a mild sneezing fit.
