I purchased two of these storage units a few years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly versatile! We originally used both in our playroom to store kids’ toys. After moving last year and as the kids have gotten older, I repurposed one for our laundry room to store cleaning supplies, pool towels, and other household essentials. Since I still have a toddler, I added a childproof lock to keep cleaning products safely out of reach. There’s plenty of storage space, and we typically keep a small step stool on the bottom shelf as well. The second unit is in our basement and is used for miscellaneous household storage. I love that the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to customize the space for different items as our needs change. One thing to note is that we did encounter a few imperfections during assembly, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re planning a perfectly seamless, custom built-in look. However, for everyday storage, they’re attractive, functional, and hold a ton of stuff. I’ve been happy with how easily we’ve been able to repurpose them throughout our home over the years!. Mandy. A pull-out tray and keyboard tray expand your surface area when needed. Plus, the cabinet doors shut completely to keep your laptop and clutter out of sight when you're done for the day.

Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. That is the only reason for the four stars.. Taji. Nanuet, NY. Fri Jun 19 2026

Tiny college bedroom so this L-shaped desk was small enough to fit in and still add some style and charm. Putting it together was pretty straightforward thanks to someone to assemble it from Wayfair. I changed the hardware to a warm, modern gold tone to match the dresser I also bought from Wayfair. My biggest problem was FedEx misplacing all my orders and they were awful. I had to go to the service center and demand they put it in my car once they located it.. Solveig. Avon Lake, OH. Fri Jul 10 2026

Deep drawers hold a ream of paper or drill. Perfect for scrapbooking, project rooms, kitchens, garages, or offices. On wheels with gate, leg extension provides additional space to complete projects.

Easy assembly. Solid piece of furniture. It would be better if the screws were labeled more clearly as some are very similar and one went through the top. There were also a few extra pieces that looked like drawer bottoms but were perhaps packing material.. Elizabeth. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026

This review is going to be only about what I know about this desk because I have not assembled it yet. It arrived in 2 separate boxes; box A and box B. One of the boxes is over 90lbs! I had a chance to open each box to take a look inside. I ordered the Brown and Black color. I really like the fact it is an L-shaped desk; we are going to use it in a spare bedroom for our small business. I need all of the features this desk offers: 5-tier bookshelf, 2 drawers, 1 file drawer, 59" long desktop with a depth of 21", 2 power outlets and 2 USB outlets. All of these features are perfect for running a small business and will make getting my work done more efficiently. The user manual is 50 pages long - I'm already estimating it will take at least 4 hours to assemble! And according to the manual, 2 people are needed in order to flip certain parts. For all the features this desk offers, it is a good price point.. Amanda. GA. Sun Jul 26 2026

This writing desk features a built-in power strip and ample storage with 4 fabric drawers and 2 shelves, keeping your workspace organized. Crafted from durable P2 particleboard, it boasts a scratch-, bump-, and water-resistant surface for long-lasting use in your home office.

Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk..
