Chairs arrived well protected in the boxes. The box said that all tools required were included to put these chairs together, however that was unnecessary because the chairs were FULLY ASSEMBLED! So far they have been used for a few days and are comfortable and seem sturdy. I also want to specify that I chose these chairs because the legs fold completely and the chair folds ( not completely in half but close to it) making them much easier to store for the winter.. I was really impressed with the quality of this lounge chair. It took longer than expected to put it together, around an hour or so, but definitely worth it. Make sure to follow the instructions and not tighten all the bolts until you have it all together. The instructions were a little difficult to follow, but with the few parts, you can figure it out quite easily. The metal frame with wood accent gives it a high end look. It is quite comfortable to sit on, even without a cushion. Not sure how the white will weather, but I think with a little care it should work well.
