This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. I recently had to use it to when we had family stay in town. I like that it fits my fitted sheets and it’s pretty comfortable to sleep. My daughter likes that she can use it as a couch in her room. This is a really great sleeper chair or mattress! I have family members who visit and bring their yound kids, and it's perfect for putting on the floor so the kids can stay in the room with their parents. It sits pretty low to the ground but can be folded several ways to make it into a loveseat, sleeper chair, sofa bed or put on a futon as the mattress. It's very soft and comfortable to lay on so would be great to use even if you wanted to bring it to sleep on when you go camping! It took a full 48 hours for all parts of it to be fully fluffed, and its a little on the stiff side, but Id still use it (this is going to be the kids couch). I dont think Id use it for the adults couch because I feel like Im going to slide off the front of it.
