I only added the separator to the one of the doors so. For reference, top pairs are women size 7.5 and kid’s size 1. The bottom is men size 10.5 and 11. It will only fit my husband’s size 13 without the separator and put them in sideways. We will just his shoes underneath. Very pretty. I’m happy I purchased it. I'm very happy with this product! It fits perfectly in my under the stairs cubby and really organized all of my shoes. Assembly was SO easy- very straight forward. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't feel the most sturdy, and the columns don't connect. But I think I will zip tie them together as an easy fix.
