This dining set met my expectations and seems to be made overall. The white glove delivery experience was very efficient and positive. My only negative concerns two of the six chairs in my set. These chairs are shipped pre-assembled and two have a significant wobble. One of the two has a factory defect where one of the leg screws was stripped and will not tighten. It’s a very nice set. However, I regret not having purchased the version of it with the chairs just wood, without the upholstery. I had assumed that in the future the fabric on the chairs could be replaced. However, the professional who assembled it let me know that in this particular furniture it’s not possible to replace the fabric upholstery on the chairs. So, once they get dirty or old, that’s it. I think, it should be mentioned in the online description that the fabric on the chairs cannot be replaced. Also, the professional assembly fee for the set was quite expensive. (It didn’t take the professional so long to do it. I think, the assembly fee listed for it was not assessed appropriately.) In addition, the fabric on the chairs are a bit shiny looking. The table and chairs are made out of very solid material. Being an online purchase, I was expecting something more like particle board or something like that. Not so. I'm very happy with the quality of the table and chairs so far (2 weeks). The only thing that was a surprise was the color. If you want the medium brown in the Wayfair photos online, you need to buy something else. The color of this set is a dark chocolate brown, not medium brown. The color works for me so I have no complaints, but be warned the color online is much lighter than what will arrive at your home via FedEx. One last thing...I did have to get three new chair backs because of discoloration and scratches. But Wayfair was great...they sent them out immediately and everything was put together. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. Easy to put together. Arrived in a timely fashion. Beautiful!! Matches our custom built cherry cabinets. The dining set is a great asset to our kitchen dining area. I'm sure it will outlast us and hopefully will be passed down to the next generation. Photos do not do it justice.
