I purchased this cute mechanical Sewing machine after my Singer machine of 45 years died. I am amazed at how streamlined it is! Instead of threading the top thread through 12 or more screw eyes, I only need to do three things. I prefer to use a written instruction book to learn and I found the Janome one to be alright for ME, a seasoned sewer, but it would probably be to brief and very confusing for a newbie. I’m a beginner & purchased the brother cs 7205, I love it! Easy to figure out, the manual & video are so helpful. It sews beautifully. I’ve had 0 issues! The one thing I didn’t notice when I purchased was that it embroidery's only the block font. I wish I would have bought the one with more font options and that has an app for my computer so that I can send projects to the machine. That’ll be my next machine. I've purchased a few items from Wayfair in the past, but I was in the middle of moving into my New Jersey apartment by myself, so things were too hectic to leave a review back then. However, I recently bought a Portable Hemming Machine and am so satisfied with it that I finally decided to write one. It’s the same brand I used to own. Although this is a slightly lower-tier model than my previous one, the price was about the same. I bought my old one in-store, but it’s really hard to find this specific brand and model from other suppliers right now. Plus, from my experience, other places usually have slow shipping. Since I needed it urgently, I went with Wayfair again based on my previous good experiences, hoping for fast delivery. I placed the order on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived right around noon today (Monday). The delivery was smooth and remembering how well all my previous Wayfair orders were delivered, I really want to thank everyone involved, including the supplier. I set up the machine today and tested it out—it works perfectly and is just as easy and convenient to use as my old one. This also reminds me of a past order (mostly furniture back then) where I had to return an item because it wasn't quite what I expected. Wayfair's customer service was incredibly kind and handled both the return and refund smoothly. I’d like to express my belated gratitude for that as well! Of course, this time the purchase was absolutely perfect with zero issues, so I didn't even need to contact customer service. Above all, this item is hard to find elsewhere, and even if I had found it, I highly doubt I would have received it this quickly. Wayfair never disappoints. It was a truly satisfying purchase. I love ittt! My only con is that it does not have wheels underneath the legs when standing. It does have wheels when rolling underneath the bed or sofa. And it doesn’t adjust up and down.
