Got this for my daughter who was 7 at the time. I was worried about it lasting because she is a bit destructive and messy (just being honest). It has held up great! It's lasted tantrums, play time, jumping on the bed, craft time, etc. I have never delt with any broken or falling slats either. Definitely happy with this purchase!. Shamika. Middleboro, MA. A great buy! And the low level is a real benefit for my husband, who, in his 90s, has very stiff joints that make it hard to get in and out of a high bed. Also good in case of a fall. We’ve had the bed for several months, and it’s holding up very well. No sagging or wear.. Kathleen. US. Sat Jun 20 2026

This product is designed to provide excellent support under any mattress. It ships in a compact box and can be easily assembled in minutes — without any tools! Unlike traditional box springs, our foundation can be broken down quickly if you’re moving or need to maneuver around tight corners. A Casper Foundation ensures that mattresses, sleep as they should. Some older box springs or foundations don’t provide a solid surface, causing mattresses to sag from the support breaks. Our Casper Foundations slats are positioned a perfect four inches apart for optimal support. A strong and level foundation helps mattresses perform at their peak for a decade or more, no matter what kind of bed frame they sit on. Casper Foundations and mattresses are the perfect pair. We spent over a year developing the Casper Foundations, so its design has the same considerations as our mattresses.

Easy to put together. Very sturdy. There are screws heads in the bed frame in 3 places down the middle of the frame and the center piece of the foundation sits on the screw heads. So it doesn’t fit flat on the frame. Either the makers of the bed or the foundation need to accommodate this space for the screw heads. I coved the foundation with a fitted sheet since it only comes in one dark color.. Doug. Erie, MI. Wed Jun 24 2026

It is slim pickings for this type of product as all fall into same category . The description “ east to assemble” is generous for the some 25 screws that need to be placed and tightened There are 6 plastic clips that come with frame but are not identified in assembly directions. It becomes your problem to figure out . Once assembled the frame is what you expect and will meet your needs for a metal platform bed.. Thomas. Pittsboro, NC. Tue Jun 09 2026

Perfect for my 14” tall mattress that I also received from Wayfair! Previously, I ordered an extremely expensive mattress and was so disappointed with it, but already had the bedtime that needed height-so this was a perfect addition! It took 30 seconds to unfold, set in the frame, and zip up the cover. It’s super heavy duty and my heavy mattress doesn’t sag at all. Saw a similar frame to this one at a different site but they had gone out of business. Found this one on Wayfair and really like this frame. The instructions were somewhat confusing and the tool wrench supplied could have been a little longer as it was difficult to access screws to tighten. Once the top panels were installed it was difficult to make sure the panel screws were tightened correctly. They're made with FSC-certified North American wood and feature luxurious organic cotton fabrics and extra slats for additional strength. A quality foundation is essential to maintaining the integrity of your mattress over time and can make a noticeable difference in the feel of your bed as well. No flame retardants or polyfoams.

The foundation has been solid and puts my bed at the perfect height. Be aware that the foundation cannot be moved without lifting it because that would damage the screw-in legs.. Diane D.. Wed Sep 02 2026
