This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. The hardest thing was getting the box inside, due to the weight! I did the count & sort & read thru instructions once before starting. As I was doing it by myself, it took me 1 1/2 hours. The pictures were most helpful in where to place what screw, cam, peg & nail. It was tiresome due to the weight of many pieces, but it went well - no do- overs!. Anonymous. Columbus, OH. Overall, the wall units look nice in our living room (we bought two). Each took my wife and I about two hours to assemble. Instructions were thorough, but you really need to be careful and double check every step. After we completed the assembly, we noticed that the part eight and nine (middle) shelves were installed upside down on one of the units. Also, the round stickers provided to cover the locking screws are very flimsy. They are just sticky paper that has very little surface area with which to adhere. We ended up using Elmer’s glue to keep them down. Other than the shelf inside the cabinet, none of the other shelves are adjustable. Also, I certainly would not place anything too heavy on the shelves (like lots of hardcover books) as they do not appear Capable of providing sufficient support without bending.. Tom. Bluffton, SC.
