Love this shelving unit. Got scared when the box filled with small parts arrived, but it was super easy to put together and love the solid wood shelves, none of that MDF board. Decided to use it under my kitchen counter. I just didn't use the top shelf, which was possible by just capping it off one level shorter. I am very happy with the look and quality at this price point. I was struggling to find something to for my narrow space in this room. They do feel more expensive than the other similar items in this price range. A few things to note, I don’t love the slight seam to the backing but it’s is hardly noticeable when decorated. Another thing to note is there are stickers to cover the screws etc. not my favorite but at this price point it’s not bad, and at least you don’t look at the screws like some other affordable pieces. I rated it a 4 because one of the cane panels wasn't stretched tight enough compared to the others so there was a slight bulge. Otherwise, it would have been a 5. The cane is a nice touch to complement the wood. Wayfair Customer Service has been great in resolving the issue. I also used the assembly service from Angi. We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together.
